Unmatchable experience- I enjoy being versatile and can be utilized as a Security Manager, Investigations Manager, Industrial Security Manager, or Contract Security Manager.
I have been fortunate enough to build a deeply rewarding path across the Africa, South America, and Asian theatres.
Most recently, I served as the Mine Investigations Group (MIG) Superintendent at Barrick Mining Corporation’s Reko Diq Project in Pakistan—one of the world’s largest Greenfield copper-gold developments. In addition to my role on the Senior Leadership Team, I regularly stepped up as the Acting Security Manager during rotations. In this capacity, I had the privilege of providing end-to-end operational oversight and leadership for a diverse workforce of between 1,500 and 2,500 personnel.

What truly sets me apart is the deep pride I take in my work and a lifelong commitment to absolute integrity. While my understanding of global security is exceptionally strong, my hard-earned understanding of security operations from the criminal’s perspective is even better. I possess a unique capability for pattern recognition and a sharp analytical eye, allowing me to detect subtle criminal perspectives, anomalies, and situational hazards that others routinely overlook.
This includes a strong interest in and mastery of modern OSINT (Open-Source Intelligence) and HUMINT (Human Intelligence) methodologies.
Throughout my journey, I have thrived in unique, diverse, and often hostile environments across South Africa, Mali, Zambia, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Botswana, Afghanistan, Tanzania, Ghana, Suriname, and Pakistan, specifically within copper, diamond, and gold mining operations. Working in these varied regions has given me a deep appreciation for cultural diversity and the agile leadership required to support multinational workforces with empathy and respect.
My career foundation was built over 12 dedicated years with the South African Police Service, where my successes led to a promotion to Detective Inspector within the elite Diamond and Gold Branch Organized Crime Unit.
